What to do with your holiday pause

Reader!

It's almost time to set up your OOO reply and hit the eggnog/other seasonal bevy of choice.

Personally, I'm checking out (virtually) on Thursday. But this week still has lots of potential:

  1. Save your procrastinating subscribers from themselves. Remind them you sell digital gift cards with instant delivery
  2. Make a plan for January...(and beyond). Prepare now so you can focus on on nursing your hangover and encouraging the kids to play quietly. (No? Just me?)
  3. Unapologetically end every zoom call with "SEE YOU NEXT YEAR" .😂

Speaking of making a plan for January and beyond...

A bunch of us are meeting on Wednesday for the 2024 > 2023 Workshop.

We're going to break down our results from this year, and make a plan for kicking derrière in 2024.

One of my favourite quotes is "If You Always Do What You've Always Done, You'll Always Get What You've Always Got".

Flip it on it's head, you'll see the formula for change.

If you want to get something different, you need to do something different.

But you can only do something different if you know what you've already done.

It's so freaking easy to go 100mph with digital marketing. Especially email marketing.

Everything is pretty much instant. Instant production. Instant results.

If you don't pause to check in, you're doomed to make the same mistakes over and over (and over) again.

Ain't nobody got time for that.

If you're not coming to the 2024 > 2023 workshop, I highly recommend you use the holiday lull to do some reflecting.

To hindsight and 20/20 vision,

Nichelle

P.S. The 2024 > 2024 workshop is only open to EEL Members but there's still time to join by clacking here.
